Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmaceutical Artwork Design:

Design primary, secondary, and tertiary packing artworks (labels, cartons, foils, blisters, inserts).

Ensure accuracy of product name, composition, dosage, statutory text, warnings, batch coding space, and legal declarations.

Implement approved artwork versions strictly as per regulatory and QA requirements.

Regulatory & Compliance Coordination:

Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, QA, and Marketing for artwork approvals.

Ensure artworks comply with Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Schedule M, CDSCO, WHO-GMP requirements.

Maintain version control and artwork change history.

Proofreading & Error Control:

Ensure zero errors in spelling, dosage form, strengths, and statutory declarations.

Cross-check approved compositions, claims, and layouts before final release.

Support QA during artwork proof approval and pre-print checks.

Artwork Management & Control:

Maintain master artwork files, revision logs, and approval records.

Archive obsolete artworks to prevent misuse.

Support PM store and production with correct artwork versions.

Marketing & Promotional Design:

Design visual aids, brochures, banners, product literatures, LBLs, and digital creatives.

Ensure promotional materials comply with ethical marketing and regulatory norms.

Align brand guidelines across all creatives.

Vendor Coordination:

Coordinate with printers and packaging vendors for artwork outputs.

Review print proofs and color accuracy before final printing.

Resolve technical design issues related to printing and packaging.

Audit & Inspection Support:

Provide artwork-related documents during internal, customer, and regulatory audits.

Support CAPA implementation for artwork-related observations.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate / Diploma in Graphic Design / Fine Arts / Visual Communication

(Pharma exposure preferred)

Experience: 3-6 years in Pharmaceutical Artwork / Packaging Design

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDRAW

Strong understanding of pharma packaging & statutory requirements

Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills

Artwork version and document control knowledge

Good coordination and communication skills

Preferred Industry Exposure:

Pharmaceutical Formulations / API / Nutraceuticals / Cosmetics

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Zero artwork-related deviations or recalls

On-time delivery of approved artworks

Compliance with regulatory and QA requirements

Effective artwork version control

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
