Job Description

A Graphic Designer creates visual concepts, like logos, layouts, and images, using software (Adobe Suite, Figma) to communicate ideas for print and digital media (websites, ads, packaging). Key duties involve collaborating with teams, understanding briefs, developing concepts, selecting colors/fonts, preparing files, and ensuring designs align with brand identity, all while managing deadlines and staying updated on trends.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development:

Creating visual concepts, layouts, and designs for various materials (social media, websites, brochures, logos).

Collaboration:

Working with marketing, copywriters, and other teams to align visuals with messaging.

Concept to Execution:

Translating strategic ideas into high-quality visual designs, choosing appropriate colors, typography, and imagery.

Software Proficiency:

Using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and potentially motion graphics software.

Brand Consistency:

Ensuring all designs adhere to brand guidelines and visual identity.

Project Management:

Managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and preparing files for print or digital release.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Creative & Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.

Software Expertise:

Proficiency in industry-standard design software.

Portfolio:

A strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and experience.

Communication:

Ability to understand briefs and present ideas effectively.

Problem-Solving:

Translating complex ideas into simple, engaging visuals.

Education:

Often a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
