Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and layout of

school textbooks, workbooks, and educational materials

for print and digital formats. Create

book covers, Image sources, infographics, charts, and icons

as per subject and grade requirements. Ensure consistency in design, typography, and layout across multiple book series. Work closely with editors, content writers, and production teams to finalize designs as per printing standards. Prepare

print-ready files (CMYK, bleed, crop marks).

Adapt designs for

e-learning modules, digital platforms, or promotional materials

if required. Maintain and organize artwork, image libraries, and design templates. Stay updated on the latest trends in

educational design, color usage, and child-friendly visual communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in

Graphic Design, Visual Communication.

Proficiency in

Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).

Strong understanding of

layout design, typography, and color theory.

Knowledge of

print production processes and pre-press preparation.

Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines. Experience designing for

school-age audiences (K-12)

educational pedagogy and curriculum design.

Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
