Role Overview
FinX is looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to develop visually compelling designs for digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate is someone who can translate ideas into engaging visuals, create strong brand storytelling, and maintain design consistency across all marketing and product assets.
The role demands creativity, speed, attention to detail, and an understanding of what works for a student- and BFSI-focused audience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Design & Visual Development
Create high-quality designs for social media, website, landing pages, digital ads, emailers, banners, brochures, presentations, and brand collateral.
Develop visually appealing graphics for FinX's academic content, marketing campaigns, and product communication.
Design posters, standees, event creatives, and program-specific materials (GFMP, etc.).
2. Branding & Visual Identity
Maintain consistency with FinX's brand guidelines across all design outputs.
Assist in evolving brand elements and creating new visual themes for campaigns and product launches.
Strengthen FinX's brand storytelling through design clarity, creativity, and innovation.
3. Video & Motion Graphics (Preferred)
Create short video edits, animations, reels, motion graphics, GIFs, and promotional clips.
Support marketing campaigns with visually rich video assets (preferred but not mandatory).
4. Collaboration & Execution
Work closely with marketing, product, admissions, academic, and events teams to fulfill design requirements.
Understand briefs, translate conceptual ideas into polished creatives, and deliver within deadlines.
Coordinate with printers, vendors, and production partners for print-ready files.
5. Quality Control & Innovation
Ensure all designs are high-quality, error-free, and optimized for various platforms (web, mobile, print).
Stay updated with design trends, fonts, UI patterns, and visual storytelling techniques.
Constantly bring fresh ideas to improve brand appeal and engagement.
Requirements
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Experience with Canva, Figma, or motion graphic tools (After Effects / Premier Pro) is a plus.
Excellent sense of aesthetics, layout, typography, and color balance.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple design requests simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and a creative problem-solving mindset.
Ability to understand briefings quickly and convert them into high-impact visuals.
Knowledge of design best practices for digital platforms (Facebook/Instagram ads, YouTube thumbnails, web banners, etc.)
Eligibility & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field (preferred).
2-6 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in EdTech, BFSI, or content-heavy industries.
A strong portfolio showcasing branding, social media designs, digital creatives, and campaign work (mandatory).
