The Charcoal Room is a home styling and furnishings organisation. We are looking for a Graphic Designer with 0-1 years of experience who has a strong eye for design and layout. Candidates are encouraged to visit www.thecharcoalroom.com to understand our design aesthetic, products, and services.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in graphic design, while also gaining exposure to merchandising concepts in the home furnishings space. Training for merchandising will be provided.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Layout making is a must

Good sense of typography, composition, and visual balance

Basic knowledge or interest in merchandising

Good documentation and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong communication skills

Willingness to learn and adapt in a design-driven environment

Additional Information:

Occasional site visits may be required during installations for design coordination

Candidates should be comfortable interacting with vendors and internal teams
