- Graphic Designer (Print & Packaging)Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer with prior experience in a print-focused company. The ideal candidate should be proficient in creating print-ready artworks, have hands-on expertise with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and possess a strong understanding of packaging artwork adaptations across multiple variants and sizes. Knowledge of final file preparation standards, including converting fonts to curves/outlines and pre-press requirements, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, adapt, and replicate packaging artwork across various SKUs, sizes, and variants while ensuring brand consistency.
Prepare and deliver print-ready files that meet printer and vendor specifications.
Work closely with the design and production team to ensure artwork accuracy and technical feasibility.
Ensure proper color management, resolution, and file format standards for high-quality output.
Convert files to curves/outlines, embed images, and finalize artworks for printing.
Collaborate with vendors/print partners to troubleshoot artwork or file issues.
Maintain an organized library of design assets, templates, and versioned artworks.
Stay updated with industry best practices in pre-press, packaging, and print production workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer in a print or packaging design environment.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (knowledge of InDesign/CorelDRAW is a plus).
Solid understanding of print processes, die-lines, bleeds, trims, and safety margins.
Ability to handle multiple artwork adaptations efficiently with attention to detail.
Knowledge of color modes (CMYK vs RGB), resolution requirements, and typography standards.
Experience in preparing final artwork files (FA) for commercial printing.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Prior experience in packaging artwork replication and adaptation.
Basic knowledge of print production techniques (offset, flexo, digital printing).
