Job responsibilities : Designing Marketing Materials: Develop visually appealing designs for marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, posters, and banners. Publication Layout: Create layouts for books, magazines, and other publications, ensuring a balance of text and visuals for an aesthetically pleasing result. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences. Incorporate client feedback into the design process. Printer Collaboration: Coordinate with printing companies to understand their specifications and requirements for offset printing. Ensure that designs are optimized for the printing process. Colour and Font Selection: Choose appropriate colours, images, and fonts to convey the desired message and maintain brand consistency. File Preparation: Prepare digital files for print production, ensuring they meet the technical requirements of the printing press. Software Proficiency: Use design software such as COREL, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) proficiently to create high-quality designs. Quality Control: Work with printers to ensure the final printed product meets quality standards. Address any issues that may arise during the printing process. Communication Skills: Maintain effective communication with clients, printing companies, and team members. Clearly convey design concepts and ideas. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other designers, copywriters, and marketing professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to design projects. Experience in Printing Industry: Prior experience in a printing press or advertising agency is often preferred, as it provides a deeper understanding of the printing process and industry requirements.
