Job Description

Freelance Graphic Designer - Xpresso Global IP Wing

Location:

Calicut

Department:

IP & Marketing Division

About the Role

Xpresso Global's IP Wing builds, co-owns, and scales some of Kerala's most ambitious

Intellectual Property (IP) events

-- from original concepts to recurring large-scale experiences.

As a

Graphic Designer

in this division, you'll play a key role in shaping the

visual identity, design language, and creative storytelling

of our IPs. The work ranges from

branding and editorial design

to

event space applications

and

digital promotions

-- taking an idea from concept to a full-fledged experience.

Alongside IP-related work, you will also contribute to

Xpresso Global's internal sales and campaign design requirements

-- including

presentation decks and initial-stage visual planning

that support campaign proposals and internal strategy discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop

brand identities, visual systems, and campaign materials

for Xpresso Global's own, co-owned, and third-party IPs. Create

editorial and publication designs

, including brochures, festival books, and event magazines. Conceptualize and execute

event design

-- stage branding, venue graphics, signages, wayfinding, and installations. Develop

digital promotional creatives

across social media, web, and event communication platforms. Collaborate with the

IP strategy and production teams

to maintain visual coherence and design excellence across all mediums. Support

sales and marketing teams

by designing

presentation decks and creative materials

for initial campaign planning and brand proposals. Manage timelines and maintain quality during

intensive event phases

with strong attention to detail and creative consistency.

Required Skills & Qualities

1-3 years of experience in

branding, communication, or event design

. Strong proficiency in

Adobe Creative Suite

(Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; After Effects preferred). Good understanding of

layout design, typography, and spatial visualization.

Ability to work efficiently under

tight timelines

and high-paced event schedules. Strong team player with openness to feedback and a collaborative mindset. Passion for design, storytelling, and live event environments.

Work Culture

During

non-event periods

, the team operates on a

regular 9 AM - 6 PM schedule

, ensuring a balanced creative workflow.

During

pre-event, event, and post-event stages

, the work model transitions into a

dynamic and flexible schedule

to meet production and design demands -- often involving

extended hours and overnight work

during key phases.

Following each event cycle,

complimentary leaves

will be provided to help the team rest, recharge, and reset.

At Xpresso Global, we believe in

creative freedom, accountability, and collective excellence

. You'll be joining a team that thrives on building design-driven experiences and shaping the next wave of

cultural and experiential IPs

in Kerala.

What You'll Love

A culture that balances creative freedom with accountability. Opportunity to work on high-profile events and immersive experiences. Being part of a passionate, multi-disciplinary team shaping Kerala's creative future.
