The Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality visual content for books, marketing materials, and digital platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and brand identity, as well as the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs that resonate with our target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Book Design & Layout
Design covers, page layouts, illustrations, and infographics for print and digital publications.
Ensure designs meet publishing standards, printing specifications, and brand guidelines.
Marketing & Promotional Materials
Create eye-catching designs for social media, websites, brochures, posters, and event materials.
Develop visuals for online campaigns and e-commerce product listings.
Brand Identity
Maintain consistent visual branding across all products and platforms.
Work with the marketing team to develop and enhance the visual identity of Morgan Publishing House.
Collaboration
Work closely with authors, editors, illustrators, and marketing teams to deliver creative solutions.
Present design concepts for feedback and incorporate revisions effectively.
Production & File Management
Prepare final print-ready and web-optimized files.
Manage digital asset libraries and maintain organized project files.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in publishing or education-related industries.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with Canva or similar tools.
Strong understanding of typography, layout principles, and color theory.
Experience with print production processes, including pre-press and proofing.
Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
Experience designing for children's books or educational content.
Basic illustration skills or experience working with illustrators.
Knowledge of UI/UX design for e-books and digital publications.
Familiarity with photography editing and retouching.

Pay: ?1,000.00 - ?1,500.00 per week
