Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and talented

Graphic Design Intern

to join our dynamic team. As an intern at Hawk Aerospace, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, working alongside seasoned professionals in the aerospace and design industries. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your design portfolio while contributing to meaningful projects that directly support our brand and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Creation & Support:

Assist in the development of visual assets for digital and print materials, including brochures, social media graphics, presentations, infographics, website visuals, and more.

Brand Consistency:

Ensure that all designs are consistent with Hawk Aerospace's branding guidelines and contribute to maintaining a unified visual identity across all platforms and materials.

Collaborative Design Projects:

Work with the marketing and design teams to conceptualize and create design solutions that support internal and external communications.

Social Media Content:

Design eye-catching visuals for social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, to engage our online community.

Marketing Campaigns:

Assist in the creation of design assets for marketing campaigns, advertisements, and promotional materials.

Product and Service Documentation:

Help design technical and product documentation materials, such as manuals, brochures, and presentations, making complex information visually appealing and easy to understand.

Design Research:

Stay current on industry design trends, tools, and software to bring fresh ideas and innovation to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.

Proficiency in Design Software:

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar design tools. Familiarity with web design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) is a plus.

Strong Portfolio:

A portfolio showcasing a range of design work, from digital to print, with an emphasis on creativity, attention to detail, and design versatility.

Good Communication Skills:

Ability to clearly present design concepts, collaborate with team members, and incorporate feedback effectively.

Attention to Detail:

Keen eye for typography, color, and layout; the ability to produce polished and professional designs under tight deadlines.

Organizational Skills:

Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or coursework in web and digital design (HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus). Interest or background in the aerospace or tech industry. Experience working in a team setting and willingness to take initiative.
