The Image Editor is responsible for reviewing and editing images created by our staff photographers to prepare them for publication on eCommerce sites. The role involves ensuring quality control for offshore retouching services, using advanced Photoshop techniques to enhance and retouch images of products, food, packages, and more.

Responsibilities

:

Retouch and enhance images for web publication. Perform tasks like clipping paths, color correction, background adjustments, and removing imperfections. Maintain accurate image files and ensure smooth image transfer to production applications. Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality standards. Communicate project status and progress effectively.

Key Requirements

:

Proven experience enhancing and retouching images using Photoshop. Experience retouching and enhancing product, food, and package images as an image editor. Strong knowledge of color theory, design principles, and composition. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Experience with Photoshop, Pixlr, Affinity Photo, and Adobe Creative Suite. Photography experience is a plus.
