Key Responsibilities:

Design high-quality,

custom thumbnails for YouTube videos

that maximize engagement. Collaborate with video editors, content creators, and marketing team to understand the message and tone of each video. Analyze performance metrics (e.g., CTR) to iterate and improve thumbnail designs. Keep up with current design trends on YouTube and suggest new creative approaches. Manage and prioritize multiple thumbnail projects under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

Proven experience in graphic design, with a

portfolio of YouTube thumbnails or similar digital media work.

Proficiency in design tools such as

Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar

. Strong understanding of YouTube thumbnail best practices (contrast, color psychology, facial expressions, text usage). Ability to take creative direction and constructive feedback. Excellent time management and communication skills. (Optional but preferred) Familiarity with YouTube analytics and how thumbnails affect performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with content creators or YouTube channels. Passion for YouTube and understanding of what drives views and engagement.
