About the team:

EDC Retail - EDC is one of Paytm's business tools to help merchants grow and manage their business through simplicity and data driven technology.

About the role:

Graphic Designer who is able to quickly interpret business needs and turn them into compelling creative solutions. Often working under tight deadlines while overseeing multiple projects, the resource must be a skilled content strategist, graphic artist. Must be adept in visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, Gifs. Must be an effective communicator, especially when it comes to relaying creative concepts to company stakeholders.

Expectations/ Requirements -

1. Distill abstract business concepts and stakeholders' needs into elegant creative solutions.

2. Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output .

3. Pitch ideas confidently and present the creative vision clearly, as well as communicate in the same manner to members of the team .

4. Ensure that all of the organization's creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand.

5. Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.

6. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

7. Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role -

1. A degree in a visual or experiential design discipline or equivalent professional experience.

2. 3 or more years of experience as a senior-level designer.

3. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience directing complex solutions for digital products.

4. Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and determine a plan that will ensure they are met or exceeded.

5. Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.

6. Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.

7. A solid grasp of art history, design history, photography and the visual arts, pop culture, and counterculture, fluency in current technology, politics, and a deep understanding of the zeitgeist of social tastes and current affairs.

8. Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.

9. Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.

Education: Graduation/Post-Graduation Preferred
