About the internship
About the Role:
Register Karo are looking for a highly talented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding design solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in graphic design principles. From concept development to final execution, the Graphic Designer will play a key role in bringing our client's visions to life across various digital and print platforms.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conceptualize and Design: Create visually appealing designs, including but not limited to posters, banners, brochures, infographics, social media graphics, and other promotional materials, adhering to the organization's branding guidelines.
2. Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing and communications team to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience to deliver effective design solutions.
3. Create Digital Content: Design engaging digital content for social media platforms, website, and email campaigns to promote the organization's activities and events.
4. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and design software/tools to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness.
5. Manage Projects: Handle multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
6. Feedback Incorporation: Actively participate in design review sessions, incorporate feedback, and iterate designs as required.
7. Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency in branding elements across all design materials to maintain the organization's brand identity.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

• Proficiency: Expertise in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.

• Creativity: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
