Job Title: Lead - Graphic Design

Reportees: None (Individual Contributor Role)
Role Summary:
The Lead - Graphic Design will be responsible for creating visually engaging and impactful learning content for Instamart's L&D team. The role involves designing and producing high-quality multimedia assets including 2D graphics, audio-visual (AV) content, video-based learning, and simulations that support capability-building programs across Dark-store and Warehouse operations. This position requires close collaboration with instructional designers, L&D managers, and product/tech teams to deliver modern, scalable, and learner-friendly content that enhances training effectiveness and adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Content Design & Development

  • Design and develop 2D graphics, illustrations, and infographics tailored for learning content.
  • Produce audio-visual learning assets (explainer videos, motion graphics, learning films) to simplify complex processes.
  • Create interactive simulations and learning modules that replicate real-life warehouse and dark-store workflows.
  • Handle video shooting and editing for training content, including on-ground process demonstrations.
  • Ensure brand alignment and consistency in all L&D content.
Technology-Enabled Learning Support
  • Collaborate with L&D and tech teams to integrate visual content into LMS and mobile-based learning solutions.
  • Develop gamified content, microlearning visuals, and adaptive learning assets to drive adoption.
  • Partner with AI/ML teams to design nudge-based and chatbot-friendly learning visuals.
Quality & Impact Measurement
  • Maintain high-quality standards for all designed content, ensuring it is learner-centric, engaging, and easy to understand.
  • Regularly update design approaches based on learner feedback, adoption insights, and business needs.
  • Benchmark against industry best practices in digital learning design to introduce innovation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Quality, creativity, and timeliness of design output.
  • Learner engagement and adoption of visually designed content.
  • Contribution of content to measurable training effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder and learner feedback on design quality and usability.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in creating learning content, with expertise in 2D design, AV content, and simulations.
  • Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Articulate, Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in video shooting and editing for training/learning content.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a mix of graphic, AV, and interactive design projects.
  • Language proficiency in English, Hindi, and at least one South Indian language (preferred for working across diverse learner groups).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
