About the role :

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join the Corporate Strategy function of Granules India Limited. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the strategy team, with a focus on spearheading key strategic initiatives for the company, such as ongoing transformation initiatives, identifying future growth opportunities, competitive intelligence, Sustainability initiatives, performance management and analytics.

Responsibilities :

- Program manage the key growth initiatives.

- Support execution across ongoing transformational efforts (e.g., EBITDA transformation)

- Drive governance and business performance management through relevant reviews, Dashboards

and Analytics

- Conducting Competitive intelligence and diligence including company/Industry research by analyzing public reports and market data.

- Analyze performance on current initiatives/programs (revenue, growth etc.) and present a holistic picture to leadership team for appropriate prioritization and efficient decision making.

- Help prepare for board meetings (e.g., coordinating with various teams to get latest data/insight required for a particular Board meeting)

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Engg. /Science/Equivalent along with MBA from a top-tier university.

- 3-5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare-related company.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based ondata and insights.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various other functional leaders in the organization.

Granules has state-of-the-art research and development centers in Hyderabad and Virginia. Granules is developing a strong R&D engine for API, finished formulations as well as chemical intermediates through technical, IP and regulatory capabilities. Granules has inaugurated a new state of art Integrated Product Research and Development Centre at MN Park Genome valley Hyderabad in a sprawling 20,000 Sq. ft facility and will function with an initial strength of more than 150 scientists across both the API and FD divisions. Granules is going through a major business transformation to propel excellence in science, technology, and innovation. The strategy focuses on three elements.

The first of which is strengthening the core by exploiting the current business. Second is to build technology platforms to fortify existing businesses and create new businesses. The third part is to create a strategic lever through ESG by combining the strength of science and technology and reimagining manufacturing.

Granules is foraying into manufacturing of chemicals and intermediates with Sustainability principle at its core and with an aspiration of achieving net zero carbon footprint. The plant will be set up in a Net Zero chemical park near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh, and will be spread across 100 acres, alongside another company who will be a provider of renewable energy and will produce green Hydrogen and ammonia. Granules proposes to use the energy, ammonia and hydrogen as inputs and produce chemicals like nitric acid, nitrobenzene, and paraamino phenol (PAP) among others
