Key Responsibilities

Research & Ideation:

Conduct material studies, market research, and mood-board development.

Concept Development:

Generate sketches, CAD models, and 3D visualizations for new lighting or product concepts.

Prototyping:

Build mock-ups and functional prototypes using sustainable materials and fabrication techniques.

Testing & Iteration:

Gather feedback, refine designs, and ensure technical feasibility.

Documentation:

Maintain clear design process records and present findings at project milestones.
Desired Skills & Qualifications

Final-year student pursuing a

B.Des / M.Des / Industrial Design / Product Design / Interior or Lighting Design

program (or equivalent). Strong proficiency in relevant tools: AutoCAD / Rhino / SolidWorks / Fusion 360, Adobe Suite, or similar. Interest in sustainable materials, craftsmanship, and contemporary aesthetics. Ability to work independently and collaborate in a studio environment. Strong communication and presentation skills.

4-6 months (aligns with academic graduation project requirements)

Ashni Studio, Bengaluru (hybrid/onsite preferred; some remote work possible)
