QAD is seeking Graduate Trainee Engineering who will be working with a small but growing team on solving challenging B2B problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. The candidate is a keen problem solver, using best coding practices, and understands data structured in detailed manner and likes fast-paced environment to deliver the results What You'll Do:

• Provide daily Support and Development efforts for an E-commerce application
• Work with the senior engineering team to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by customers.
• Work with the Q/A team to ensure the quality of fixes/enhancements delivered to our customers
• follow the SDLC methodology and be the part of an Agile team
• Provide updates at Daily Standup Meetings

Qualifications

• 
  Knowledge on Java software development, preferably developing enterprise software solutions.

- Knowledge in Java tool stack - Java 8 and above, Spring MVC, Hibernate / iBatis, RDBMS, JSP, and Web design technologies like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap

• Good to have knowledge of git, Jira, Agile methods, and build processes (Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline) is a plus
• Understanding of relational databases (Oracle or MySQL).
• Familiarity with browsers (IE,FIREFOX,CHROME) and browser developer tools for debugging purposes
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong technical and problem solving skills. Able to read existing code, enhance and refactor.
• Good to have knowledge of Microservice Architecture, RESTful, and SOAP
• Knowledge of the e-commerce platform or industry would be beneficial.
• B.E/B.Tech Computer Science or equivalent
