Job Description

Key Responsibilities Manufacturing & Production

Assist in manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, and surface finishing of valves and actuators. Understand drawings, specifications, BOMs, and process sheets. Support production planning, line balancing, and cycle time improvement activities. Monitor shop-floor operations and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Quality & Testing

Assist in inspection and testing of valves and actuators (pressure testing, leakage testing, functional testing). Support implementation of quality standards such as ISO, API, ASME, and company quality procedures. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Design & Engineering Support

Support design and development teams in preparing drawings and technical documentation. Assist in engineering changes, product modifications, and value engineering activities. Learn material selection, tolerances, and performance requirements for valves and actuators.
Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment. Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and waste elimination.
Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety, health, and environmental (HSE) guidelines. Participate in safety audits and risk assessments on the shop floor.
Training & Development

Undergo structured on-the-job training and classroom sessions. Rotate through departments such as Production, Quality, Design, Testing, and Maintenance. Receive mentorship from senior engineers and supervisors.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical components. Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with valves, actuators, or fluid control systems is an advantage. Basic understanding of CAD tools and MS Office.
Soft Skills

Strong willingness to learn and adapt. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
