Job Description

As a Graduate Mining Engineer, you will support mine planning, operations, and development activities while gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of the mining process. This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates in mining or related engineering disciplines. You will work under the supervision of experienced engineers to develop technical and operational skills essential for a successful career in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of short-term and long-term mine plans Conduct field surveys, geological data analysis, and mapping Monitor and report on daily mining activities (e.g., drilling, blasting, hauling) Contribute to improving safety, productivity, and environmental compliance Perform equipment and resource usage analyses Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation using CAD or mine planning software Support project work such as mine design, ventilation, scheduling, or dewatering Work with multi-disciplinary teams including geologists, surveyors, and supervisors Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and site inspections
