Mechanical Engineer

to join our team at the NALCO Aluminium Refinery, Damanjodi, Koraput District, Odisha - 763008

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, daily reports, checklists, and project records. Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Oversee and support site activities--including installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems/equipment. Monitor work progress, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and report deviations. Assist in planning, scheduling, and material management for site operations. Provide technical support to the team and assist senior engineers in resolving site-related issues. Conduct routine inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). 0-3 years of experience in construction, industrial, or power plant mechanical engineering (freshers may also apply). Strong documentation and reporting skills. Ability to lead and coordinate with site teams. Good understanding of mechanical drawings, installation procedures, and safety standards. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic project documentation tools. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Employment Details

Salary:

Starting at ?25,000 per month (higher compensation based on experience).

Accommodation:

Free company accommodation provided at site.

Work Location:

On-site at Adani Power Project, Anuppur (Madhya Pradesh).
