ob Description: Mechanical Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)
Position Summary:
The Mechanical Graduate Engineer Trainee will support engineering, production, and maintenance teams by assisting in design, analysis, project execution, and process improvement activities. The trainee will undergo structured on-the-job training to develop technical skills, industry knowledge, and hands-on experience in mechanical engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in mechanical design, drafting, and modeling using CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
Support production and manufacturing operations, including process monitoring, parameter optimization, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with senior engineers to perform root cause analysis, quality checks, and corrective actions.
Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance planning for mechanical equipment and machines.
Collect and analyze data to improve efficiency, quality, and safety of plant operations.
Prepare technical documents including reports, SOPs, BOMs, drawings, and project updates.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
Work cross-functionally with design, production, quality, and supply chain teams.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (B.E./B.Tech - Mechanical).
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
Internship or industrial training experience in manufacturing.
Work Environment
Manufacturing plant / workshop / design office depending on assignment.
Requires collaboration with multiple teams and willingness to work on shop-floor tasks in training period.
