Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented

Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)

to join our

Project Planning and Control

team. The selected candidate will support the planning, tracking, and coordination of engineering and construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera P6. Support in preparing project work breakdown structures (WBS), timelines, and resource plans. Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and report deviations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, quality) to track deliverables. Participate in project status meetings and prepare project progress reports. Help identify risks and delays; assist in mitigation planning and escalation processes. Support cost tracking, budgeting, and invoice validation processes. Maintain project documentation and support internal/external audits and reviews. Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Basic knowledge of project management principles and tools. Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a dynamic project-based environment.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Internship or project experience in project coordination or engineering management. * Familiarity with concepts like critical path method (CPM), earned value management (EVM), and risk analysis.
