Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) - Building Automation Systems

who aspire to build a career in
Building Automation, BMS, and Smart Building solutions
. The trainee will undergo structured on-the-job training and mentoring while supporting system design, application engineering, site activities, and technical promotion of BAS solutions for projects across India.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Learning
Undergo structured training on Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC controls, field devices, Safety and security systems.
Gain exposure to BAS communication protocols like Modbus, OSDP, KNX and BACnet.
2. Application Engineering Support
Assist senior engineers in preparing system architecture diagrams, control schematics, I/O lists, and BOQs.
Support selection of controllers, sensors, actuators, meters, and panels under supervision.
Study project specifications, consultant drawings, and tender documents.
Assist project teams during site installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
3. Pre-Sales & Technical Support
Assist in preparation of technical submittals, compliance statements, datasheets, and presentations.
Support senior engineers during customer, consultant, and internal technical meetings.
Help perform basic engineering checks and documentation reviews.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills (Entry Level)
Basic understanding of Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation fundamentals.
Introductory knowledge or academic exposure to Automation, PLC, SCADA, or BMS.
Ability to read basic electrical drawings and block diagrams.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Behavioral & Soft Skills
Strong client-facing communication skills.
Good to very good English proficiency (spoken and written) for interaction with customers, consultants, architects, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to participate in technical discussions, presentations, and email communication in English.
Strong learning attitude and curiosity for automation technologies.
Ability to prepare clear technical documentation, reports, and emails.
Willingness to travel across India.
Qualification & Eligibility
BE / BTech (Fresh Graduate) in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
0-1 year experience (Freshers strongly encouraged to apply).
Internship, academic project, or certification related to BMS / HVAC / PLC / Automation is an added advantage.
