About the role

Dyson Global IT are seeking a Graduate Data Scientist who will be responsible for developing and deploying data science solutions that provide business value to the organization. The Graduate Data Scientist will be able to leverage the data, tools, and resources available in order to develop and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and other data-driven solutions to solve complex business problems. The Graduate Data Scientist will work closely with the Data Science team, other IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that all components of the project meet the necessary requirements in terms of functionality, performance, scalability and security.

• Develop and deploy data science solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Leverage the data, tools, and resources available to develop and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and other data-driven solutions.
• Work closely with the Data Science team, other IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that all components of the project meet the necessary requirements in terms of functionality, performance, scalability and security.
• Develop data visualisations and reports for stakeholders to interpret and understand the results of the data science solutions.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve the accuracy and performance of the data science solutions.
• Maintain and support existing data science solutions.

About You

• Studying towards or have obtained a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. (with 2 years or less working experience)
• 1+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, predictive modelling, or related areas.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and R.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Strong technical background in areas such as scripting, software engineering practices, and the technology stacks used in modern data-driven, distributed systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and timelines.
