Role description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Graduate Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on analyzing and interpreting large datasets, developing data analytics solutions, and delivering high-quality insights to address business challenges. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of data analysis and visualization, with familiarity in tools like Microsoft Power Platform and Python. You will work closely with project teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights through innovative solutions.

Role accountabilities:

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

Utilize Python to analyze and interpret large datasets, extracting meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making. Develop Python scripts to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data, addressing various business challenges. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project teams to understand data requirements and objectives, leveraging Python and the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver tailored solutions. Engage with stakeholders to ensure data-driven solutions align with business goals and expectations. Developing Data Analytics Solutions: Design and implement basic data analytics workflows and solutions using Python and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps). Use Python to automate data processing, transformation, and reporting tasks for improved efficiency and accuracy. Leverage Power Automate to streamline repetitive workflows and integrate data processes seamlessly. Utilize Power Apps to create user-friendly applications for accessing and interacting with data.

Data Visualization and Reporting:

Create compelling visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, enhanced with Python for data manipulation and custom visuals. Design insightful reports and presentations to convey findings clearly and effectively, using Python for data preprocessing and analytics. Project Support and Delivery: Assist senior colleagues on various projects, utilizing both Python and the Power Platform to ensure high-quality deliverables within specified deadlines. Support project planning, execution, and monitoring with Python scripts and Power Platform tools that streamline data analysis tasks to meet client expectations. Compliance and Professional Development: Adhere to the Arcadis business management system, including mandatory training, timesheets, and other submissions, utilizing Python and Power Platform tools for efficient data management. Continuously update skills with the latest trends and best practices in Python programming, the Microsoft Power Platform, and data analytics methodologies.

Key Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills:

Basic proficiency in Python for data analysis, processing, automation, and the development of custom analytics solutions. Familiarity with data manipulation and transformation using Python libraries, such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy. Experience with data visualization libraries in Python, such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly, to complement Power BI dashboards. Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including: Power BI for interactive dashboards and visualizations. Power Automate for workflow automation and task optimization. Power Apps for custom application development.

Analytical Thinking:

Basic problem-solving skills, leveraging Python and Power Platform tools to interpret complex datasets and develop innovative solutions. Attention to detail and the ability to identify actionable insights through Python-based and Power BI analytics. Communication and Collaboration: Good verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to explain insights driven by Python and Power Platform tools clearly. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, sharing Python-based and Power Platform solutions and insights. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects within deadlines, using Python and Power Automate to automate routine tasks and improve workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

BE/B.Tech/M.SC /M.Tech Data science/Computer Science or related Experience is 0-1 yrs in Data Analysis
