ecoming the force of innovation and digital transformation supporting the Ground Engineering Team to drive applications and revenue in Smart Geotechnics, Remote Sensing, and AI. I
deating and implementing AI/ML algorithms and applications to support the vision of the Ground Engineering Team to consolidate as a leader in digital engineering design, geotechnical modelling, site assessments, and monitoring of geotechnical assets. S
tay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging trends in AI/ML, generative and agentic AI, geotechnical engineering, and engineering geology to continuously improve project outcomes. I
n parallel, this role involves time of a more traditional geotechnical engineering role, which will include: U
+ ndertaking geotechnical site characterizations and assessments to analyse geological conditions and identifying potential geotechnical risks.
A
+ ssist in the design of geotechnical, geophysical, and geo-environmental site investigations.
S
+ upervise site investigation contractors and conduct site investigations, including logging of soils and rocks.
M
+ anage geotechnical investigations, subsurface exploration, soil and rock sampling, laboratory testing, and analysis to provide accurate engineering recommendations.
E
+ valuate and interpret ground data using 2D/3D geological and geotechnical software modelling.

+ upport the preparation of detailed geotechnical factual, interpretive, and design reports, presentations, and specifications for internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex geological concepts to non-technical audiences.
C
+ ollaborate with cross-functional and multidiscipline teams to incorporate geotechnical considerations into project plans, designs, and construction strategies.

achelor's degree (Master's degree preferable) i

n geotechnical engineering, geology, engineering geology, geological engineering, or a related field with a heavy focus on developing AI/ML applications.
K

nowledge of Artificial Intelligence, c

omputational geomechanics, applied AI/ML, data science applied to civil or geotechnical engineering problems, database systems, software engineering and App development, Python, R, Java, MySQL, development of APIs in geotechnical software: Plaxis, OpenGround, Leapfrog, Revit, Civil 3D, AGS files. K

nowledge of geological and geotechnical engineering principles ,

including soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and geotechnical testing methods. F

amiliarity with relevant software and tools f

or geological modelling, analysis, and reporting: Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D, GeoStudio, Rocscience. E

xcellent communication skills ,

both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. C
