Role Overview

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and student-friendly

Grade 2 Mother Teacher

who can handle all core subjects and create a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment. The teacher will be the main point of contact for students, guiding them academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

Teach all foundational subjects for Grade 2 (English, Maths, EVS, Basic GK, etc.) Plan and deliver engaging, activity-based lessons suitable for 6-7-year-olds Encourage reading, writing, comprehension, and basic numeracy skills Maintain a positive and child-friendly classroom atmosphere Support emotional, social, and behavioural development of each child Use creative methods: flashcards, storytelling, group activities, worksheets, phonics, etc. Monitor individual student progress and provide additional help where needed Maintain notebooks, classwork, homework, and student portfolios Communicate politely and regularly with parents about student progress Prepare students for assemblies, celebrations, and school events Ensure proper supervision, safety, and discipline at all times Attend meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher meetings (PTMs)

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Education / Child Development)

NTT / B.Ed / D.El.Ed

preferred Experience teaching early primary grades is an advantage

Very patient, empathetic, and caring Ability to manage young children effectively Strong communication and explanation skills Creative teaching approach, use of teaching aids Good handwriting and presentation Classroom organisation and time management Ability to identify learning gaps and support slow learners Energetic, positive, and responsible attitude

Work Schedule

Full-time, as per school timings Participation in trainings, PTMs, and school events compulsory
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
