Job Description

About the Role

Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations. Counsel patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, and hearing aid use. Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Perform hearing aid repairs and maintenance. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, including those set by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Assist in community outreach programs and hearing screenings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Audiology from a recognized university. Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Optional: 1 year of experience*
Knowledge of current audiological practices and technologies. Strong clinical skills in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid fitting and must be commitment to providing patient-centered care Should have Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Fluent in Telugu and English.
Must meet the requirements and norms as stipulated by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for the position of Grade II Audiologist.
