Job Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Government Liasoning Officer

to manage and support our company's government contracting activities. This role involves preparing tender documentation, liaising with government departments, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and managing submissions on government portals (e.g., GeM, eProcurement). The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Govt. Liasoning with past experience in working with different government departments is a must.

Key Responsibilities:



Identify and evaluate relevant government tenders, EOI/RFPs, and bidding opportunities. Register and manage company profiles on government portals (e.g., GeM, CPP, eTendering sites). Prepare and submit bid documents in compliance with the requirements. Coordinate internally across teams to gather required documents, pricing, and technical inputs. Monitor the status of bids, follow up on clarifications, and track deadlines. Ensure full compliance with government norms, procurement policies, and legal documentation. Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, PSUs, and other stakeholders. Maintain a database of submitted bids, awarded contracts, and performance documentation. Assist with contract negotiations and post-award documentation where required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Law, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in government bidding, tendering, or contract management. Strong understanding of public procurement systems and portals (GeM, eProc, etc.). Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and online tendering systems. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines under pressure.

Preferred:



Experience working with EdTech, IT, or training sector government projects. Knowledge of legal terminology related to government contracts. Familiarity with state and central government procurement processes.
