Identify and register the company's oncology products in government procurement portals (e.g.,
GeM
,
HLL
,
e-Tendering
systems).
Build and maintain strong relationships with purchase departments, medical superintendents, and key decision-makers in government institutions.
Ensure timely
submission of tenders
,
rate contract follow-ups
, and
pricing negotiations
.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure timely product supply and documentation.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the institutional oncology segment.
Drive
secondary sales
and ensure product availability at CGHS-approved stockists or supply channels.
Key Requirements:
Gender:
Male (Field-intensive role requiring travel)
Education:
B.Pharm / B.Sc (Life Sciences) - Preferably with an MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management.
Experience:
Minimum
3-5 years
of experience in
government/institutional sales
, preferably in
oncology or specialty pharmaceuticals
.
Strong knowledge of
government procurement systems
, tendering process, and hospital sales cycle.
Experience in dealing with bodies like
AIIMS, CGHS, R&R, ESI, Railways
, etc.
Proficient in MS Office, GeM Portal, and Tender Management Software.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, tender follow-ups, and product promotion.
Preferred Skills:
Existing relationships or contacts within CGHS, AIIMS, or Railway Hospitals.
Familiarity with
oncology drug protocols
and high-value product handling.
