The Government Liaison supports INSD Group of Institutions by establishing official relationships with central & state skill development bodies, regulatory agencies, and policy partners. The role drives compliance, partnership acquisition, and program delivery for business expansion and academic credibility.
Key Responsibilities
Government Partnerships & Engagement
Develop and maintain relationships with NSDC, MSDE, sector skill councils, and state skill missions.
Identify and pursue appropriate government schemes, grants, and partnership opportunities for both INSD and INSD RISE Model.
Represent the organization at government meetings, forums, and official events.
Regulatory Affairs & Compliance
Monitor and ensure compliance with evolving government policies, standards (e.g., NSQF), and scheme requirements.
Lead documentation and clearances needed for empanelments, scheme participation (PMKVY, STAR, DDU-GKY, etc.), and audits.
Project & Proposal Management
Prepare, submit, and track proposals for government funding, accreditation, and scheme onboarding.
Oversee execution and reporting for approved government projects, working with internal teams to ensure milestone achievement.
Strategic Advocacy & Policy Monitoring
Track key policy changes in vocational education, skills development, and franchising that impact both brands.
Advise leadership on opportunities, threats, and best practices relating to government relations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Graduate or postgraduate degree in Public Administration, Education Management, Business, or related fields.
4-7 years' experience in government relations, preferably in vocational education, skill development, or the education sector.
Proven record in handling NSDC/PMKVY/state skill development bodies and related compliance.
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, with ability to represent at high-level forums.
Strong network in government, regulatory, and sector skill council circles.
