GMB & Digital Marketing Expert

who can strengthen our local search rankings, manage our clients' business listings, and drive targeted digital growth.

Job Summary

The GMB Expert will be responsible for managing and optimizing Google My Business profiles, improving local SEO rankings, executing SEM campaigns, and supporting social media optimization efforts. This role plays a key part in enhancing our clients' online visibility across Google Search, Google Maps, and social channels.

Key ResponsibilitiesGoogle My Business Management

Set up, verify, and optimize GMB profiles for multiple clients. Manage business information, categories, attributes, services, images, and updates. Publish posts, offers, and announcements on GMB regularly. Monitor and respond to customer reviews professionally. Maintain NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across listings. Track performance using GMB Insights and prepare analytical reports.

Local SEO

Conduct local keyword research and competitor analysis. Optimize websites for local search visibility (On-page + Off-page SEO). Build and manage local citations and directory listings. Improve rankings in the Google Map Pack and organic local results.

SEM (Google Ads Management)

Plan and run targeted Google Ads campaigns for clients. Optimize keywords, ad copy, and bidding strategies. Track performance, conversions, ROI, and prepare campaign reports.

SMO (Social Media Optimization)

Create and schedule content for social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Increase brand visibility and engagement through strategic social activity. Monitor social metrics and adjust strategies for better performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in GMB management, Local SEO, SEM, or digital marketing. Strong understanding of Google's local search algorithms. Hands-on experience with tools like Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console, GMB Insights. Knowledge of citation-building platforms (BrightLocal, MOZ, Yext, etc.). Ability to create analytical reports and interpret data. Strong communication and client-handling skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling GMB listings for multiple clients/agencies. Google Ads or Google Analytics certification. Basic knowledge of Canva or graphic design tools for posts.
