Google My Business (GMB) Expert
to manage, optimize, and grow the online visibility of our clients across Google Search and Google Maps.
Job Summary
The GMB Expert will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining Google Business Profiles for clients to improve search visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in local SEO, GMB ranking strategies, and reputation management.
Key Responsibilities Google My Business Management
Create, claim, verify, and manage GMB profiles for multiple clients.
Optimize business listings with accurate information, categories, attributes, photos, services, menus, and descriptions.
Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across directories and listings.
Local SEO Optimization
Implement strategies to improve local search rankings and map pack visibility.
Perform local keyword research and integrate them across GMB content.
Track and enhance GMB performance metrics (views, clicks, calls, direction requests, etc.).
Content & Posting
Create engaging GMB posts, updates, offers, events, and announcements.
Manage photo/video uploads and ensure regular content freshness.
Reviews & Reputation Management
Monitor customer reviews and ratings across profiles.
Respond to reviews professionally to enhance customer trust.
Develop strategies to increase positive reviews and manage negative feedback.
Reporting & Analytics
Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for clients.
Analyze insights to improve conversions and search rankings.
Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Local SEO tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience managing multiple GMB profiles.
Strong understanding of Local SEO and Google Maps ranking factors.
Experience with tools: GMB Dashboard, Google Analytics, Search Console, BrightLocal, Moz Local, etc.
Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
Ability to handle multiple clients and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of digital marketing is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in agency environments.
Certifications in SEO, Google Analytics, or Digital Marketing.
Knowledge of local citations and directory submissions.
