Hiring for Google Data Engineering - Chennai
- We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience, including strong hands-on expertise in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and supporting the organization's data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data pipelines using GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, Dataproc).
Build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from structured and unstructured data sources.
Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Work closely with Data Analysts, Scientists, and other Engineers to ensure data quality and consistency.
Implement data governance, security, and monitoring best practices.
Automate workflows using Cloud Composer (Airflow) or similar orchestration tools.
Develop CI/CD pipelines for deploying data solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, ensuring data integrity and availability.
