Key Responsibilities

Perform skilled crafting, repairing, polishing, and finishing of gold jewellery. Create new jewellery pieces based on design specifications, sketches, or customer requirements. Inspect, identify, and correct defects in jewellery items. Handle tasks such as soldering, stone setting, mounting, and engraving. Maintain accuracy in gold weight, purity, and quality standards. Ensure proper melting, casting, moulding, and fabrication processes. Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and work areas. Follow company standards for jewellery finishing, safety, and quality control. Collaborate with designers, sales staff, and branch managers to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Provide expert advice on jewellery repairs, modifications, and custom designs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Goldsmith Strong knowledge of gold purity, karat testing, and jewellery-making techniques. Skilled in soldering, stone setting, polishing, and crafting. Ability to work with precision and attention to detail. Good hand-eye coordination and steady manual dexterity. Ability to meet production deadlines and manage multiple orders. Integrity and trustworthiness in handling precious materials.
