Role Overview

We are seeking a Gold Loan Officer to manage day-to-day branch operations, drive loan growth, and deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, banking, or NBFC operations with strong communication skills and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Handle customer inquiries and explain gold loan products, interest rates, and repayment terms Verify and value pledged gold ornaments accurately Manage loan disbursement and repayment collections Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance as per regulations Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive business growth Achieve monthly loan disbursement and recovery targets Safeguard pledged gold and ensure proper security measures
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred) 1-3 years of experience in gold loans, NBFC, banking, or financial services Strong numerical and valuation skills High integrity and trustworthiness (mandatory for handling pledged assets) Good communication skills in Tamil and English Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Loan Management Systems)
