The Gold Appraiser will be responsible for accurately evaluating and appraising gold and ornaments pledged by customers. The role involves assessing the weight, purity, and market value of gold items to ensure transparent and fair transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical inspections and evaluate gold ornaments for purity and weight.
Determine the current market value of gold items.
Maintain detailed records of appraisals and transactions.
Verify authenticity and quality of gold ornaments.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining appraisal results clearly.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Gold Appraiser or in a similar role.
Knowledge of gold purity testing methods and tools.
Good understanding of market trends related to gold prices.
Strong attention to detail and honesty.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or relevant certification in jewelry appraisal or related field.
Previous experience in a financial or jewelry appraisal setting is preferred.
