Related to the Financial Investments Area, this role main accountability is providing support and advise on the development of applications by understanding the requirements of customers and recommending application performance improvements to ensure alignment with business requirements and implementing them in the scope of Go and Python based development

Responsibilities

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).


Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Strong communication and teamwork abilities


Collaborate with the creative process by providing inputs based on your experience.


Work with Product Owners and Business stakeholders in the requirements development.


Drive the development team towards the goal by integrating skills and experiences.


Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the software.


Work with QA, product management, and operations in an Agile environment.


Develop and support data-driven product decisions in a high energy high-impact team.


Develop features that will drive our business through real-time feedback loops.


Participate in the resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions.


Design and implementation of cloud-based solutions to integrate different data sources.


Work on event-driven architecture style


Automate workflows and repetitive tasks on the cloud using serverless technologies.


Develop small, independent, and loosely coupled microservices


Work with event streaming and pub/sub messaging model


Work with Web and mobile applications

Skills

Must have


7 or more years of qualified experience in the below


Hands-on with Go Lang Development & Python expertise to join our dynamic team.


Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).


Capable of Designing, Developing, and Maintaining high-performance applications with Go & Python Programming Languages, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.


Capable of designing the program independently e.g. Python wrappers around other programs / scripts


Agile DevOps culture [ADO ] Kanban and sprints.


Nice to have


Knowledge of Open Telemetry, SDK, APIs and client server models


Acquaintance with IBM Z mainframe systems and relevant components like Omnibus, MQ, CICS, DB2, IMS


Working exposure to Open Telemetry is an added advantage
