Role GoLang Developer
Experience Range 2 to 4 Years
Role and Responsibility Brief

• Analyses customer/internal requirements/specifications and translate these into software designs
• Build and maintain software written in Go Language
• Code written is Go Language should be scalable, robust, reusable, and highly performant
• Need involvement in architecture and design decisions, building micro services and packages which will be used / reused in distributed architecture
• Perform extensive unit and system level testing to ensure highest software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyses, design, and ship new applications
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

Must Have Skill

• Must have hands on experience in developing web service with micro service development design principles
• Strong knowledge of Go programming language
• Experience with Go frameworks such as following or equivalent

o Web framework such as Gin
o Swagger
o SqlX
o Logging framework in Go such as logrus

• Experience with tools such as following or equivalent

o GoMod
o Testify
o GoLang Migrate

• Strong hands-on experience in GORM library
• Hands on experience on goroutine & and channel patterns
• Must have hands on experience in any database technology such as MySql, MariaDB, Oracle etc.
• Strong hands-on experience in webservices and API
• Familiarity with GIT
• Should follow Agile Methodology
• Must be able to create self-sufficient documentation

Nice to Have Skill

• Container technology such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud technology such as AWS, Azure
• Elasticsearch
• Caching technologies like memcache, redis etc.
• Kafka, NATS etc.
• System programming, like Windows/Linux system APIs

Additional Information

• Willingness to cross-skill (or up-skill) to GO Lang or any other technology where Java/SpringBoot is considered as near skill.
