Job Responsibilities :- Thorough knowledge of destination travel products, their potential and position in the marketplace- Experience in government, business, tourism or travel trade- Builds and maintains relationships with travel and tour vendors.- Sales and coordinates transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours, and activities. Advises clients regarding destinations,- Collects payments, books travel arrangements, and pays applicable fees.- Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancellations, and refunds.- Meets with clients to determine travel needs, budgets, and preferences.- Maintains accurate records of bookings, payments, transactions, phone calls and meetings.Desired Candidate Profile : - Experience within the travel industry- GDS knowledge will be considered a plus- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi, and also local language.- 3-5 years of experience working in the relevant area of expertise or University degree or college diploma in tourism, business, marketing, communications or public administration is usually required.- Exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities to introduce and implement process and solutions.Employment Type : Full Time, PermanentEducation : Preferred degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant fieldAge : Below 35Languages : English and Hindi (ref:updazz.com)
