Godown Incharge
to manage daily warehouse operations. The role involves inventory management, material handling, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring safe and organized storage of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the godown / warehouse
Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials
Ensure proper storage, stacking, and safety of inventory
Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records
Coordinate with sales, accounts, and logistics teams for dispatches
Prepare delivery challans, GRNs, stock reports, and related documents
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation
Supervise loading and unloading activities and manage labor
Ensure cleanliness, discipline, and safety standards in the godown
Prevent damage, loss, or theft of goods
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum qualification:
10+2 / Graduate (preferred)
2-5 years
of experience as a Godown Incharge / Warehouse Incharge
Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control
Basic computer knowledge (preferred, not mandatory)
Ability to manage labor and coordinate with multiple departments
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience handling
home appliances, kitchenware, or similar products
Reliable, disciplined, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and handle responsibility
Salary & Benefits
Salary:
?10,000 - ?18,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
