Role Overview

Walbrydge Technologies is building a high-scale, real-time enterprise platform powering live tracking, operational dashboards, audits, analytics, and geo-intelligent systems.

We are seeking Go Lead Engineers who can architect and build ultra-low-latency, high-throughput backend systems that operate at scale. This role demands deep expertise in real-time data processing, concurrency, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture, along with strong technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Real-Time System Architecture & Development

Lead the design and development of

real-time backend services

using

Golang

. Architect

event-driven, streaming-based systems

for live data ingestion and processing. Build high-performance

APIs, pub/sub systems, sockets, worker services

, and background processors. Design and implement

geospatial computation

, live tracking, route analytics, and map-driven services.

Performance, Scalability & Reliability

Optimize

concurrency, memory usage, throughput, and latency

at system level. Implement

fault-tolerant, highly available

services with graceful degradation. Ensure production-grade stability with strong

observability, logging, and monitoring

practices.

Platform & Collaboration

Integrate services with

Kafka, Redis Streams, WebSockets, gRPC, MQTT

, and messaging pipelines. Work closely with

DevOps

teams on zero-downtime deployments and scaling strategies. Collaborate with

frontend, mobile, analytics, and product teams

for seamless real-time data delivery.

Leadership & Engineering Excellence

Mentor backend engineers and drive

best practices in Go, architecture, and system design

. Lead code reviews, architectural discussions, and performance reviews. Contribute to long-term

platform evolution and technical roadmap

.

Required Skills & Experience

8-12 years

of backend engineering experience with

strong production usage of Golang

. Expert knowledge of

Go concurrency patterns

(goroutines, channels, worker pools). Hands-on experience building

real-time, event-driven, distributed systems

. Strong exposure to

Kafka / Redis Streams / gRPC / WebSockets / MQTT

. Experience working with

geospatial data

, live location systems, and telemetry pipelines. Deep understanding of

performance tuning, profiling, memory management

, and scalability. Strong system-level thinking with a focus on

reliability and operational excellence
