GMP Cloud Engineer
Description
We are looking for a Google expert who is experienced in Google Cloud Platform and
understands the working within the Google Marketing Platform. This role will be working
predominantly in GCP where you will be liaising with the Google Cloud team and being
hands on in project work for clients. The main area of work will be setting up Google Tag
Gateway and Server-Side Google Tag Manager.
Technical support for Google Cloud projects liaising with clients to ensure that
they understand how to set up and maintain their GCP infrastructure, relevant to
sGTM.
Programming languages will need to be Python, JavaScript, SQL
Be an evangelist to help our clients be at the top of their game by helping with
their technical solutions of the GMP & GCP tools. Be an advocate for GA4, and
sGTM to deliver cutting edge solutions
Working with a variety of teams across the business to assist on new pitches /
Client presentations and to offer ongoing support to the clients.
Develop strong relationships with our clients to understand their needs,
objectives and pain points, and help them make data-driven business decisions
Drive the support services by delivering quality results often with enterprise level
websites covering multi-market with cross-channel offerings solutions
As part of the Google Marketing Practice, you would be leading the way of
embracing the full Google Marketing Platform & Google Cloud stack
You would be responsible for delivering rollout plans and roadmaps for our
clients with a particular focus on GA4, (s)GTM, GTG & BigQuery
End to End architecture responsibilities which includes -
1) Production-grade sGTM infrastructures using Cloud Run, Load Balancing,
Cloud CDN, etc.
2) Creating secure, scalable architectures for high-traffic environments by
creating multi region load balancer.
3) Hands-on work with first-party proxy setups, which is the core requirement of
modern server-side tagging.
4) Deep expertise in configuring Cloud Run/Cloudflare as a reverse proxy.
5) Experience rewriting request/response headers, setting cookies server-side,
and enforcing first-party context.
6) Understanding of DNS, custom domains, SSL (managed certificates), and
traffic routing for first-party endpoints.
