About the job:
Develops and implements the Opella Global Medical Information (GMI) strategy for the generation of metrics, reports, and insights to drive informed decision-making, and measure impact and outcomes.
Leverages data analytics to meet current and future business needs and supports insights generation processes within GMI.
Develop and implement regular dashboards and reports to monitor GMI performance, based on GMI specific metrics and KPIs (e.g. e escalation rates, response time, open inquiries longer than 2 weeks etc.).
Tests, learns, and recommends new business intelligence and analytics tools and methods including Natural Language processing & b Gen AI.
Supports the optimization of global medical information systems through testing, SOP updates, and template enhancements.
Main responsibilities:
Generate dashboards and reports with GMI core metrics and KPIs to ensure business performance is measured and monitored on a regular basis.
Creates and manages requests for reports (global, region, country, or inquiry category- or product- based, regular and upon request) from internal and external stakeholders, including medical, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, compliance, quality, health authorities, etc.
Leads data synthesis and analysis process across different data sources to provide actionable insights, implications, and recommendations to support sound decisions by GMI and other internal stakeholders.
Provides concise presentations of data and insights that go beyond the facts, including a discussion of potential implications and recommended course of action.
Management Responsibilities:
Leads strategic consumers & customers Insights projects to address key needs of GMI and stakeholders to positively impact the business.
Works in close collaboration with GMI Head and with digital business partner to develop and implement appropriate tools for Insights and Analytics activities, develops good working relationships with preferred vendors.
About you:
Advanced degree in healthcare-related field (e.g. PharmD, MD, MS, PhD, or equivalent scientific degree).
5-8 years of experience in generation of Insights or Analytics, or related activities, with experience in medical information or an equivalent scientific role within pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare industries.
Experience in developing and updating dashboards and reports in Sales Force, Power BI and/or similar tools.
Experience in data analytics processes and in building concise reports for different user groups.
Experience in project management for data-based actionable insights generation.
Experience with Generative AI platforms for insights generation, summarization, and content creation.
Prompt engineering expertise to design effective queries for Gen AI tools that yield accurate and actionable insights
Preferred:
Post-bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (e.g., Masters, MBA or equivalent) preferably with focus on data analytics and statistics.
Knowledge of development and usage of Salesforce and / or Veeva dashboards and reports and/or similar tools.
Knowledge, Skills and equivalent Experience:
Strong analytical aptitude, communication skills, and ability to synthesize complex information.
Strong project management skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for medical writing, report delivery, and stakeholder interaction.
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed and cross-functional environment involving internal teams and external vendors.
