The General Manager - Sales & Marketing is responsible for formulating and executing the company's sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth, increase market share, and strengthen brand positioning. The GM will lead a dynamic team, manage key client relationships, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and ensure alignment between sales and marketing functions.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive sales & marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
Lead long-term planning and forecasting efforts.
Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.
Sales Management
Drive revenue growth through channel development, B2B/B2C strategies, and key account management.
Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance monitoring systems.
Manage pricing, contracts, and negotiation strategies with major clients.
Review and optimize the sales pipeline and funnel performance regularly.
Marketing Management
Oversee brand development, digital presence, ATL/BTL campaigns, and corporate communications.
Guide the development of marketing content, promotional materials, and advertising campaigns.
Analyze consumer behavior, competitor activity, and market trends to refine marketing strategies.
Supervise product positioning, pricing, and launch activities.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales & Marketing team to achieve departmental goals.
Foster a high-performance culture driven by data and accountability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Financial Management
Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysis for marketing spends.
Ensure efficient allocation of resources to high-impact projects.
Reporting & Analysis
Provide regular business performance reports to the senior management.
Utilize CRM and data analytics tools to drive performance insights and improvements.
