. The ideal candidate should have strong market knowledge, deep relationships with clients in the region, and a proven track record of handling large-scale B2B/Project-based sales.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end
sales operations for the Delhi zone
, covering institutional, industrial, and government clients.
Drive revenue through
direct sales, channel partners, and project business
with EPC contractors, DISCOMs, and state utilities.
Identify and respond to
tenders, RFPs, and large project opportunities
in coordination with the central bid team.
Develop strategic relationships with
consultants, project developers, and procurement heads
to influence buying decisions.
Monitor market dynamics, pricing trends, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the region.
Coordinate with internal departments including design, production, and logistics to ensure
on-time delivery and execution
.
Ensure timely
collections and account reconciliation
for assigned clients.
Generate and review
monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics
.
Mentor and guide junior sales executives in the zone, where applicable.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
(preferred) or equivalent background; MBA is a plus.
12-16 years of relevant B2B/project sales experience
in the
power cables, HT/LT cables, or T&D
sector.
Strong understanding of government and industrial procurement cycles, especially
public sector and infra projects
.
Demonstrated ability to handle a
multi-crore portfolio
independently.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client handling skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and familiarity with tendering platforms (like GeM, eProc).
