Experience: 15+ Years in Power Plant Operations & Management Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Power Engineering (MBA preferred)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager (GM) - Power Plant to lead, manage, and oversee the overall operations, maintenance, safety, and profitability of the power plant. The GM will be responsible for strategic planning, efficient operation, compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure uninterrupted power generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the power plant ensuring maximum efficiency and minimum downtime. Develop and implement strategic plans for production, maintenance, and expansion. Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations. Optimize fuel consumption and energy efficiency. Manage budgets, cost control, and ensure profitability of operations. Lead, mentor, and develop the plant management team and workforce. Monitor performance metrics (generation efficiency, PLF, heat rate, emissions). Coordinate with top management for business strategies and future projects. Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and standards. Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, vendors, and contractors. Drive continuous improvement and adoption of latest technologies. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and people management skills. In-depth knowledge of power plant operations (Thermal/Coal/Gas/DRI Captive Power/Other as applicable). Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability. Strong financial and business acumen. Knowledge of safety, environmental, and statutory regulations. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary Range:

?1,20,000 - ?3,00,000 per month (depending on experience, plant size & location).

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
