We are seeking an experienced and strategic GM - Operations Head to oversee the entire manufacturing operations of our sweets and savouries production units. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of productivity, quality, efficiency, and compliance while leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence across all plants..

Key Responsibilities:



Operational Management



Oversee day-to-day operations of production, packaging, quality control, procurement, and logistics. Ensure optimal use of resources (manpower, machinery, raw materials) to achieve production targets. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce wastage.

Production Planning & Quality Control



Develop and implement effective production plans aligned with demand forecasting and seasonal variations. Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, food safety, and quality standards (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP etc.). Collaborate with R&D to introduce new products and improve existing processes.

Team Leadership



Lead and manage plant managers, supervisors, and operations staff. Define KPIs for performance evaluation and conduct regular reviews. Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and teamwork.

Supply Chain & Inventory



Monitor procurement of raw materials and ensure timely availability without overstocking. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate procurement contracts. Maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce pilferage or spoilage.

Compliance & Safety



Ensure all operations adhere to local laws, environmental regulations, and industry standards. Implement and maintain safety protocols for workers and equipment.

Strategic Planning



Participate in budgeting and business planning with the senior leadership team. Identify and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Business Management or related field. Minimum 10-15 years of experience in operations management, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing. Proven track record in managing large-scale food production units. Knowledge of traditional and modern sweets & savouries manufacturing processes is a plus.

Pay: ?1,500,000.00 - ?1,800,000.00 per year
