Bolivar is an in-house, Swing based application catering to Securities Lending and Borrowing Business of GECD. It uses Java technologies like spring, Hibernate and webservices. It also uses SQL 2012 server database (1200 tables, 1700 stored procedures, massive concurrent access).

Position Purpose

The role is for a Business Analyst to contribute to project with domain knowledge and functional changes within Bolivar application. The candidate will be working with highly motivated professionals who take pride in the quality of their output and it is expected to continue. He/She will be involved in the full Software Development Lifecycle applying Agile methodologies, tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

--Maintenance and Enhancements:

• Interface with users to understand change requests/new requirements/bugs
• Interface with IT team
• Write functional specifications for IT team or for the software vendor
• Build tests scenarios in order to enrich regression tests library
• Create high level test scenarios for new functional enhancements
• Support users during UAT
• Write team and end-users documentation

--Functional expertise on Securities, Lending and borrowing(SLAB) to assist the team locally:

• Assistance to the development team or the support team for all functional issues
• Analyze usage of all functionalities present in Bolivar Application for FO/ MO/BO (Booking, Settlements, Reporting, Position mgt, Expiry, Corporate Actions)
• Knowledge on Trade Life cycle of Securities, Lending & Borrowing (SLAB)
